Meet Karina
Karina Rabin is the heart and vision behind WaistedMom. Her journey began with real struggles many women face — two C-sections, hereditary kidney disease (PKD), and weight gain that left her feeling disconnected from her body. On her 40th birthday, she made a powerful commitment: to rebuild her strength, share her journey publicly for accountability, and prove to herself that change was possible. Just six weeks in, she noticed muscle forming and hope returning. But knowing her pattern of quitting, she searched for tools to keep momentum alive — and rediscovered shapewear.
Her first attempt with traditional shapers left her in pain,
so she redesigned the idea into supportive, comfortable
waist trainers that empowered rather than restricted.
That spark became WaistedMom. During the pandemic,
when gyms closed and isolation set in, Karina live-streamed
workouts on Facebook. Within weeks, a vibrant
community formed. From there, she expanded her mission
by coaching women and publishing Eat Your Way to Fit.
Today, WaistedMom is more than a product — it’s a
movement. Karina’s philosophy is simple yet powerful: women have permission to be strong and soft, feminine and fierce, unapologetically confident, and fully in control of their bodies and lives.
